How Arvo Works?

V
Written by Vladyslav Khrypun

Summary: Getting started with Arvo takes 4 simple steps: verify your identity, browse properties we've already vetted, choose how much to invest (from $100), and earn your share of rental income monthly.

The Simple Version

Think of Arvo like buying a slice of a pizza rather than a whole pie. You get all the benefits of owning real estate: rental income and property appreciation, without needing hundreds of thousands of dollars.

And because we're regulated by the DFSA, your slice is legally protected.

Step 1: Verify Your Identity and Onboarding

Before you can invest, we need to verify who you are. This is required by DFSA regulations and protects all investors.

Investor Assessment Questions

As part of onboarding, we'll ask you a few simple questions to better understand you as an investor. This helps us:

  • Meet regulatory requirements: DFSA requires us to assess investor understanding

  • Personalise your experience: tailor information to your experience level

Your data will be encrypted and used to create a better experience.

What You'll Need

  • Passport

  • Proof of Address (POA): utility bill, bank statement, or tenancy contract (dated within 3 months)

  • A few minutes: most verifications complete within 5 minutes

Powered by Sumsub

We use Sumsub, a trusted identity verification platform, to securely verify your documents. Here's how it works:

  1. Upload your Passport: take a clear photo or upload an existing image

  2. Quick selfie: confirms you match your ID

  3. Upload proof of address: shows where you live

  4. Automatic verification: Sumsub checks everything securely

  5. Additional verification: if needed, you might be asked to submit further information on Sumsub.

Your data is protected. Sumsub uses bank-level encryption and is fully GDPR compliant. We never sell your information.

We also run ongoing Anti-Money Laundering (AML) Screening Checks to ensure we remain compliant with our regulators.

Step 2: Browse Properties

Once verified, you can explore investment opportunities.

Our team searches for properties that meet strict criteria:

  • Prime locations with strong rental demand

  • Quality buildings that attract reliable tenants

  • Good returns that make financial sense

  • Fair prices verified by independent valuations

Full transparency: every property listing includes complete documentation: valuation reports, financial projections, and all costs.

You don't have to research the market or negotiate with sellers. We've already done that for you.

Step 3: Invest

Once you've chosen a property:

  1. Review all the details: location, expected returns, photos, documents

  2. See all fees upfront: we show you exactly what you'll pay

  3. Decide how much you want to invest (minimum $100)

  4. Top up your wallet via debit card or bank transfer

  5. Complete your purchase in a few taps

  6. Once the property is fully funded, you will receive your official ownership documents within 2 weeks

No paperwork. No lawyers. No banks to visit. No hidden fees. Own a part of a property from anywhere in the world.

The documents are official ownership documents that you can verify yourself through public registers.

Step 4: Earn Monthly Income

Once the property is acquired, we take care of all the details. The property will either be:

  • Rented out and sold after a few years (3 to 5 years)

  • Renovated and sold (under 18 months)

If the property has no existing tenants, we will work with the property management company to secure new tenants as soon as possible.

  • Rent is collected from tenants

  • Property expenses are paid (maintenance, insurance, management)

  • Your share of the rental return goes directly into your Arvo wallet

  • Payments happen monthly

Your Ownership is Real and Verifiable

When you invest, you receive real legal documents:

  • Share Certificate: proof of your ownership

  • Title Deed: the property is registered with the Dubai Land Department

  • SPV Documentation: your legal ownership structure

Don't just take our word for it. Verify yourself:

  • Check the property on Dubai Land Department's website

  • Confirm your shares on the DIFC Public Register

This level of transparency is only possible because we're fully regulated.

Regulated Every Step of the Way

Arvo is licensed by the Dubai Financial Services Authority (DFSA). This means:

  • ✅ Your funds are protected in segregated accounts

  • ✅ We follow strict compliance requirements

  • ✅ You have legal recourse if something goes wrong

  • ✅ Our operations are regularly audited

All investments carry risk. Property values can go down as well as up. Past performance is not a guarantee of future returns. Arvo is regulated by the DFSA.
